- 9th Grade features 7 a-side games which are played on a 1/4 of a full sized field with Junior 7 a-side goals.
- Games are played with retreating lines. Please CLICK HERE to watch a video explaining how the retreating line works.
- Games will be home and away. Home games will be predominately played at Ngataringa Park (Navy) and away games will played across North Harbour.
- Kick off times will vary between 9am - 11am
- Players will be required to arrive for games at least 30 minutes before kick off
- Team formation is based on a mix of friendship and ability. There is no "one-size-fits-all" formula
- Players will be placed into a team. That team will have one team training session a week with a club coach. Players are then encouraged to attend the second training session of the week called the Skills Centre.
- On most occasions, a parent gameday coach is required, If you are keen to be a gameday or even training day coach, please contact Football Development Manager, Ryan Ward, fdm@nsu.org.nz
- Players will need to purchase shirt, shorts and socks. CLICK HERE to view the club shop.
- Each team will need a manager and parent assistance is required for field set up/pack down for home games and refereeing. Teams also need to provide a referee for at least one half and assistant referee.
