Training Structure

North Shore United are rolling out a new training structure and vision and philosophy for all Junior and Youth players. The aim is to offer a training structure which is :

  • Well structured

  • Affordable

  • Maximises development and enjoyment

  • Manages training loads

  • Enables the right environment for players to develop

  • Aligns with local schools football vision and philosophy

All players regardless of the team they are placed in at Junior and Youth level will have:

  • 1 x Structured training session with club coach (except 15th & 17th Grade Championship & Conference who will have 2 team trainings)
  • 1 x Game
  • All players are then invited to attend an additional training session for a additional fee
  • At Junior Level Additional Session during Term 2 & 3 = Skills Centre Session
  • At Youth Level Additional Session during Term 2 & 3  = Youth Development Programm

Please note:Training day, time and venue may change during the season as a consequence of the availability and condition of training grounds. NSU will do its best to avoid changes to day and time wherever possible. Any changes will be communicated via our Facebook Page and via all team Managers.

Team trainings will run:

Term 1: Week beginning Monday 1st April (start Tuesday 2nd, as Monday 1st is Easter Monday) until week beginning Monday 8th April 

Break: Term 1 School Holidays

Term 2: Week beginning Monday 29th April until week beginning Monday 1st July

Break: Term 2 School Holiday

Term 3: Week beginning Monday 22nd July until week beginning Monday 2nd September
