Trials: PDP Grade 13th, Born 2013, North Shore United AFC

Players born in 2013 are invited to register for the 2026 PDP 13th Grade Trial Programme.
This trial block is designed to give every player a fair, consistent, and meaningful opportunity to be assessed, while also helping them improve throughout the process.

Why Our Trial Process Is Different

• Instead of a one-day trial, we deliver 8 full sessions across the entire month of February.
• This allows our coaching team to:
• Spend proper time with each player
• Assess performance across multiple sessions
• See players in different situations
• Observe attitude, work ethic, coachability, and game behaviours
• Support players to develop during the trial period, not just be judged
• This structure ensures selections are made with care, detail, and fairness.

Trial Schedule, February 2026
Mondays & Wednesdays

• 8 Total Sessions (Full Month of February)
• Fee: $150

Running two sessions each week across February gives players the ideal platform to show their abilities and gives coaches the time to get to know every player properly.

Exact session times and field locations will be emailed once registration is completed.

(The PDP is a separate 24 week programme.)

What We Assess

During the trial block, coaches will be evaluating players across several key areas:

• Technical Ability
• First touch, passing quality, receiving under pressure, ball mastery.
• Tactical Understanding
• Movement off the ball, decision making, positioning, game awareness.
• Physical Qualities
• Speed, agility, balance, coordination, work rate.
• Psychological & Personal Attributes
• Attitude, focus, effort, resilience, coachability, respect.

We are looking for players who are ready to grow, willing to work hard, and motivated to improve.
