Twenty-two teams, and a whole lot of rain

North Shore United hosted a Grade 9 festival at Bayswater Park last weekend, bringing together 22 teams from NSU, Takapuna, Greenhithe and Warkworth. Each team played four 20-minute games across the morning - cold, wet, and absolutely worth it.

A special mention to the Belmont Intermediate Boys AIMS teams, made up largely of NSU players, who ran a sausage sizzle, bake sale and coffee cart on the day. The parents were well caffeinated, the kids were well sugared, and the fundraising for their AIMS Games trip is well underway.
