First Team and Grade 15s train together in pathway session

6 Jul

Last Tuesday, our Women's First Team opened their training session to the Grade 15 girls - giving younger players a firsthand look at what First Team football looks and feels like.

The evening covered a fun warm-up game, technical passing work and finished with a World Cup-themed tournament, with players from both squads mixing throughout. By all accounts it was a great night.

These combined sessions are an important part of how NSU thinks about player development. The goal is simple - give younger players a clear pathway and the inspiration to keep going. Coach Joe Hughes put it well: we look forward to seeing many of those Grade 15 players wearing the First Team shirt in the years ahead.

If your daughter plays junior football at NSU and has ambitions to play at a higher level, this is the environment we're building.
