Billy's Grade 10 Football Festival — registrations open

North Shore United is proud to launch a new addition to the club calendar - Billy's Grade 10 Football Festival, held in honour of life member Bill "Billy" Lissington, who passed away last October.

Bill gave years of dedication to this club, leading our sponsorship efforts and later taking on the role of First Team and Reserves manager. He watched his son Harry come through the grades into a First Team career now well past one hundred games, and in 2023 was made a life member in recognition of everything he gave to North Shore United.

This festival carries his spirit forward. Grade 10 boys' and girls' teams from across Auckland and Northland are invited to Allen Hill Stadium on Sunday 2 August for a full day of football, food trucks, music and community - junior football at its best, with the focus on enjoyment and development rather than results.

Every player receives a tournament boot bag, a burger voucher and a participation certificate. Entries are limited to 8 boys' teams and 8 girls' teams.
