Auckland Council confirms major investment in NSU facilities

North Shore United can confirm that Auckland Council has committed to a significant package of capital works across our grounds as part of their three-year expenditure plan - and it's great news for everyone who uses our facilities.

As previously advised, new changing rooms at Bayswater Park and safety and footpath improvements at Allen Hill are both on track for completion this year.

In addition, three new projects have now been confirmed. The Allen Hill main pitch will be renewed, including drainage and irrigation, with physical works scheduled for 2027/28. The training pitch and floodlights are also confirmed on the same timeline. Further out, the Stanley Bay storage shed and toilets are scheduled for renewal in 2028/29.

These are meaningful upgrades that will benefit players, coaches, volunteers and supporters for years to come. We'll share more detail as each project progresses.
